Rob Goff


Rob has had a long and fruitful career, having played and recorded with many of the great performing artists of our time. This list includes members of Steppenwolf, Asleep At The Wheel, Delany and Bonnie, and Crow, to name just a few. Born in Minnesota, Rob began teaching himself guitar at age 12. He gravitated towards blues-rock and progressive rock and roll, and began playing professionally at age 17. At age 18, Rob began teaching guitar in Minneapolis; a profession that lasted 20 years and amassed thousands of loyal students, many who would go on to launch successful, award-winning music careers of their own. He has also performed in several successful bands with musicians from the Twin Cities area. In addition, Rob is a studio-level musician and has spent countless hours in recording sessions laying down guitar tracks for local and national ad campaigns. Itching to return to the live music scene, Rob, along with drummer Billy Morgan, bassist RJ Awe, and lead vocalist Dave Thompson, formed The Choppers .

Rob uses Gibson Les Paul and Fender Stratocaster guitars with Marshall amplification.
