Hoopy Dave
Dave, or better known as Hoop, has been around the Twin Cities music arena for over 25 years, working in professional bands since 1976. After playing bass and guitar in number of garage bands, he ultimately focused on Lead vocal/Frontman. A founding member of the 1980's metal group Counter Attack, Hoop has had the opportunity to work with a multitude of talented musicians since. Dave's wide vocal range and pure enthusiasm for entertainment make for a tremendous fit with the The Choppers's power trio of RJ, Billy, and Rob.
Dave uses Shure microphones & wireless in-ear monitors, Fender Stratocaster and Gibson Les Paul guitars plugged straight into Marshall amplification, the way God intended it to be!
